Different racing chairs are made for different things, and there are many different things that make one racing seat better than another one, but many people don't know these differences, and end up having a hard time choosing one when they go shopping for one.

Following the guidelines listed below will aquatint you with what makes a racing chair good, and should point you in the right direction towards buying the racing seat that'll satisfy your gaming needs and ensure that you have a blast while racing through the maps of FORZA or GT5.

You should also keep in mind that the game itself may be more suited towards a particular driving wheel so ensure that the wheel you have will fit on the chair that you eventually buy. Fortunately, most racing chairs will fit all sets but sometimes a particular chair may be designed for a wheel alone while others will have room for you to put the pedals as well.

Material Quality Many racing chairs (in fact I once owned a racing chair like this) are made of pure plastic and very cheap seating material.
